Mr Kern, whose real name is Mathias Liniado (Buenos Aires, 1981), studied applied arts in Bordeaux and Barcelona (Escuela La Llotja).

In 2002, Mr Kern published his first book, Le Cendart, an eclectic work that includes comic pages, portraits and some of his most striking murals.

Throughout his career, Mr Kern has participated in numerous urban art competitions and international exhibitions in cities such as London, Luxembourg, Madrid, Barcelona, Seville and Manchester. These experiences have allowed him not only to expose his art to a wider audience, but also to influence and be influenced by the vibrant global street art scene.

Through his work, Mr Kern has expressed his frustration with the perfection demanded in today's society. He has said that he is 'fed up with how perfect we all have to be' and that he is 'tired of everything we like being absolutely round, square and therefore beautiful'. This disillusionment is reflected in his work, which often breaks with conventional aesthetic norms and challenges the viewer to find beauty in imperfection.

In 2017, Kern began publishing in the French magazine Fluide Glacial, a platform that has allowed him to reach a wider and more diverse audience. That same year, he published his first graphic novel with Antoine Pinson, The Case of Alain Lluch, an unhinged fantasy about marketing, food and capitalism, in short. This work is a perfect example of his ability to combine social criticism with an attractive and provocative visual narrative. This book was a turning point in his career, consolidating his way of understanding the creation of a comic as a total work and his ability to fuse different art forms within a visually striking narrative medium.
